The Videographer Appeal
One might ask why we chose to go into create a wedding videographer Los Angeles business.
What was the appeal and attraction to want to produce wedding video Los Angeles DVDs
for couples both newlyweds and those who have been married for 40 years? What would be our motivation as wedding video Los Angeles filmmakers
to put in the time, effort, and physicality needed in order to produce a product that would not only satisfy our clients but impress them tremendously
while making us feel proud of a days work? As founder of Adept Eye I can say with confidence there are many rewards that one may not think of or even
imagine that motivates us to providing the best service possible.
L.A. Photographer Versus Los Angeles Wedding Videographer
When my wife and I got married back in 1998, we did not even consider hiring a wedding video Los Angeles company to capture our wedding. We figured if we were going to pay for anything extravagant or if we were going to pay a little to get top notch quality it would be for a high end photographer. Back then it was extremely rare for anyone to shoot in digital format because the technology was just not there for both wedding photography and wedding videography. Therefore, most photographers used 35 film or Betacam for videographers. For wedding video in Los Angeles, that type of quality just did not seem warranted for us to spend our money on. We instead decided to spend more on a photographer that would make our wedding album look like something from a magazine.
Not Spending On Wedding Video Los Angeles Service
Like many couples now and then, our priorities were as followed: church, venue, photographer, florist, invitations, limo driver, and DJ. Well, the DJ was easy because at the time I had owned my own DJ company who I hired for our wedding. The church would of course be the church that I attended since childhood to adulthood. As a result, we had a significant discounted “donation” in order to have our wedding there. My wife found a nice reception hall in a golf course club house in which we would have our reception during lunch instead of dinner in order to cut costs. She also had a family friend who was a florist who practically did our wedding at cost. During that time I worked for a defense company who had great discounted benefits on custom made invitations. Our limo driver was probably one of the cheapest in the area in which we rode in some type of generic American limousine such as an Oldsmobile or Buick.
To be honest I don’t even know if those car makers even make limousines. As you can see we were really able to cut costs. Because we had kept our costs down significantly we actually did have money left over to hire a wedding video Los Angeles professional to videotape our wedding.
Disregarding Wedding Video Los Angeles Production
When it came to hiring our photographer had first interviewed a couple of vendors. Every one of them had very good quality pictures. However, there was one photographer whose pictures just blew us away. Her albums really did look like something straight out of a magazine. All of the other vendors offered so much more in their packages than her and they were probably $1000 cheaper. But we decided these pictures would have to last for not only our lifetime but for children and grandchildren and perhaps even great grandchildren. As a result, the possibility of hiring a wedding video Los Angeles company was nil and we basically put the rest of our eggs in our photographer’s basket.
