Our wedding videographers have done numerous events in Orange County. It is definitely filled with many locations conducive to achieving great wedding videos and videography products. Depending on which survey you read, Orange County is considered either the second or third largest county in the state of California. Although Orange County is not a city, it is similar to Los Angeles in that Orange County does not really have a central location that would epitomize its area. Typically, when one refers to Los Angeles, they normally are referring to the entire Los Angeles area including its neighboring cities. For example, one might live in the city of Pasadena or Hollywood. But to people outside of the Southern California area they may refer to their home as Los Angeles. Orange County follows that same norm. For example, if one lives in the city of Anaheim, they may claim to others that they are from Orange County.
But this decentralized characteristic evident in both Los Angeles and Orange County also suggests certain diversity. There is diversity in its people, its culture, its lifestyle, and its scenery. Such diversity exists in of course locations that would be spectacular for wedding celebrations. Like the city of angels, Orange County is filled with magnificent landscaping, artistic architecture, and beautiful beaches.
One of Orange County's popular locations to hold a wedding is the Rancho Capistrano Ministries located in San Juan Capistrano which is in the southern part of Orange County. If you are looking for a Spanish style location then look no further. Ceremonies can be held in their Spanish courtyard just outside of its adobe style house made in the 1800s. Couples and their guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery of its lake which is surrounded by lush greenery. For those seeking an indoor ceremony, there is also a church available. We once serviced a wedding at this Orange County location during the month of May in which the service and celebration were scheduled to be outside. To the couple's misfortune it began to rain heavily throughout their wedding day. This church absolutely came in handy which allowed the ceremony to go forward.
After the ceremony, the Orange County Rancho Capistrano Ministries have a large reception area. Its Spanish patio and courtyard offer a wonderful setting because of its magnificent landscaping. Within the courtyard are well crafted fountains and other Spanish architecture. During the wedding in which it rained, the Orange County Rancho Capistrano Ministries provided tents and heaters which were very effective in keeping the reception area dry and warm.
Another Orange County hot spot for weddings is the Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club. Located in Coto de Caza, which is also in the southern area of Orange County, this golf course is much different than many other country clubs. This facility offers both

outdoor and indoor accommodations for your wedding reception to take place. But one of its more notable aspects is its outdoor pavilion. Again, the surrounding landscaping is absolutely a must see. It is also located next to a terrace overlooking a beautiful waterfall this Orange County country club. While we were providing services at this location for a couple, we notice a nice stairway in which the bridal party and newlyweds would walk down during their grand entrance. This created a great effect because from where the people in the audience were sitting they would not be able to see each bridal party member until they had walked completely down. This allowed a pleasant sense of anticipation in the final wedding video.

But out of all of the hot spots for weddings to take place in Orange County, the Grand Newport Plaza in Costa Mesa may be considered the place to be.
The Turnip Rose is a catering service based out of the city of Orange that specializes in providing services in this particular location. While providing wedding videography services at that venue, we were absolutely impressed with their ability to not only provide great food and service, but also entertainment. Before serving the food, their servers perform a cute little number to help create excitement. The performance is something similar to what you would experience on a cruise ship.
But this Orange County location of the Grand Newport Plaza, is what really allows great wedding video to be capture. There is a magnificent stairway that leads down to the foyer or pavilion where all of the guests reside while being served hour'derves. One of the weddings that we did there had a grand introduction in which the couple came down the stairs while the MC introduced them to the guests as the new husband and wife. As they came down it created a great dramatic shot of them walking down while their guests below were applauding them. When they made it down to the pavilion they walked by and greeted their guests. This is one of the few Orange County location in which this event could have this type of effect.
